The project «Konstanz-Ukraine Partnership for Virtual Teaching and Digital Skills» was successfully implemented at UEPA with the support of DAAD

With the support of the University of Konstanz within the framework of the program of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) «Ukraine Digital: Ensuring Academic Success During Crisis», students and post-graduate students of the Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy have received improved digital content on issues of European integration, digitalization technologies in management and theory and methodology of scientific work; they also received significant financial support to continue their studies, despite the restrictions caused by the war.

As a result of the implementation of the project, the disciplines «European Integration and Management of International Projects» and «Digitalization Technologies in Management» were developed by representatives of the Department of Information Computer Technologies and Mathematics and the Department of Foreign Language Training, European Integration and International Cooperation, in particular, by Prof. Oleksandr KUPRIYANOV, Prof. Tatiana BONDARENKO, Assoc. prof. Hanna KORNYUSH and Senior Lecturer Roman NETERENKO.

The course «Theory and Methodology of Scientific Work» was created and implemented for our post graduate and doctoral students. The course was tought by Oksana MELNYK, a Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Research Associate of the Department of Economic and Business Education 1, at Konstanz University (Germany).

During the studies, twenty of the best post-graduate and doctoral students of UEPA of various specialties acquired the skills of writing scientific papers, exchanged experience of writing scientific papers in Ukraine and Germany, and discussed the possibilities and prospects of applying the acquired knowledge in practice.

The final stage of the course was presenting the winners' own scientific projects, which were united in a group presentation on the chosen topic at the final meeting.

According to the results of an open competition, 51 bachelor's degree holders and 20 scientific level holders were selected among the students of the specified courses. They were awarded special scholarships from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The project has also supported long-term ties, which are of vital importance for future cooperation between German and Ukrainian universities.

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) uses funds from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) to finance the program «Ukraine Digital: Ensuring Academic Success During Crisis» within the framework of the International Mobility and Digital Cooperation (IMKD) program.
