UEPA starts implementing a new international project to strengthen the capacity of Ukrainian academic staff in innovative pedagogical and psychological education and research

 

The Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy, together with representatives of Masaryk University (Czech Republic), in cooperation with partners in Ukraine from Hryhorii Skovoroda University in Pereiaslav, Donbas State Pedagogical University, Poltava V.G. Korolenko National Pedagogical University, and Zaporizhzhia National University, are launching a new international project to modernize higher pedagogical and psychological education in Ukraine.

The project “Strengthening the capacities of Ukrainian academic staff in innovative pedagogical and psychological education and research”, implemented by Masaryk University in cooperation with partners in Ukraine, was supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic as part of development cooperation implemented abroad.

The project will be implemented from April to December 2024 and involves the creation and implementation of a joint course “Pedagogical and Psychological Work with Students in Difficult Life Situations”, advanced training of academic staff in the field of qualitative and quantitative research on schooling, and the creation of a collection of educational materials for pedagogical and psychological work with students in difficult life situations.

On March 20, 2024, an online kick-off coordination meeting was held to launch the project, at which the main components of the project, its activities, and expected results were agreed.

From the Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy, the project will involve the Department of Practical Psychology, the Department of Pedagogy, Methodology and Management of Education, the Department of Information Computer Technologies and Mathematics, and the Center for Innovative Educational Technologies, International Relations and Academic Mobility.
