On April 21, another joint meeting of the Euroclubs of UEPA, Kharkiv Lyceum 144 and the "Forum" speaking club of NTU (Kyiv) took place within the framework of The Ukrainian Youth on the Way to Democratic Values project, dedicated to the contribution of Great Britain to the resistance to Russian aggression in Ukraine.

Shaparenko, students of the 2nd year of UEPA Saltovets L., Shvets D. provided a report on assistance to displaced persons and indicated the volumes of military aid in numbers. Gerasymenko O. (Lyceum 144) analyzed the historical basis of friendly relations between Ukraine and Great Britain.

The special guest of the meeting, a soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine undergoing military training in Great Britain testified to the great help of the British to our soldiers.

L.G. Sokolova, the curator of the lyceum Euroclub, spoke about her volunteer experience of cooperation with various media persons, in particular with the volunteer artist George Butler in Kharkiv at the beginning of the war.

We are happy that George Butler took the time to attend the meeting in person. He shared his impressions of the events in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odesa, Bucha and showed his extremely talented and emotional works. His story caused many questions from the audience.

Some lyceum students living in Great Britain as a result of the war (Merkushev S., Fedchenko I., Marynych R.) prepared stunning videos and honored the British for their huge help to refugees.

It was a pleasure to hear warm words of support from the volunteer from Great Britain Pauline Marks, who gladly answered all the questions of the attendees.

L.O. Shevchuk, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Foreign Philology and Translation of NTU (Kyiv) made the final speech.

We thank all 58 participants and guests for their interest in the topic of conversation. Thank you Great Britain for your support!
